Rest and restore in this 90 minute candlelit class, spent almost entirely in seated or reclined postures, each held for 3-5 minutes. Truly one of the most transformative yoga practices there is; on a physical level, yin targets and affects our connective tissues, manifesting lightness and ease throughout the whole body. During these longer held postures, we develop and nurture our ability to listen to the signals given by our body. This provides an opportunity to get to know ourselves a little better, to understand what we need and what we don’t need, both on and off the yoga mat. Every class ends with a 10-15 minute savasana (relaxation) with optional lavender-infused head massage!
